Teach yourself to make your grandmother's oyster stuffing. Go out in nature and gather pinecones. berries, boughs or seashells for your table. Get out your favorite china and table linens - don't leave them in the hutch just because there won't be a crowd. Bringing nature into your home and cherishing the things that bring you comfort seem to be the only antidotes to the feeling of loss this holiday (besides a FaceTime session).
