We have raised a kid and a house full of cats and big dogs, and they all sit on the couch. It’s just deep enough for naps and my friend sleeps on it when she visits. The washable slipcovers are bulky and a pain to put back on but it’s worth it. The foam cushions are still comfortably firm. The denim has faded from use and washings and it has clearly been loved, but I highly recommend the quality of this piece and amazing durability of the denim.
