Small Farmhouse Table
A small farmhouse table can be as small as 42″ long and 30″ wide or 36″ round or square. Any table below the typical 6′ long and 3′ dining table could be considered small. As the demand increases for smaller urban living spaces and beach side condo’s there is a growing demand for stylish dining tables to fit tighter spaces.
ANY SIZE
All of the tables shown below can be made in these smaller sizes or in any size or style required. Originally there were only a few options for the base of a small farmhouse table – a tapered or a turned leg would suffice. But today, choices abound. In addition to the traditional tapered or turned leg, farmhouse tables can sit on a single pedestal or a variety of stylish leg designs all ideally suited for small table requirements.
Tables can be made from traditional pine or from premium woods such as rustic cherry, maple or oak. Still more options to choose from – new wood or old. A custom small farmhouse table can be made from reclaimed weathered boards, including old English pine or reclaimed American barn boards. Nail holes, saw marks and other imperfections add to the charm of a reclaimed wood table. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the use of reclaimed wood eliminates the need to cut down a new tree – the ultimate in recycling!
ANY COLOR
All of our tables are available in the color and finish of your choice. Our existing color pallet includes 90 paint colors, multiple stain color options in each workshop collection and several wax color options for our reclaimed woods. Please feel free to explore all of our paint and stain options to help guide your design plans. All of paint and stain finishes include a durable water based clear top coat. This makes it easier to keep the table top clean with a damp sponge (no chemicals!) and provides protection from water rings.
